Lets talk about how we fell in love with growing herbs and how we turned an idea into a herbal tea business. We met in the summer of 2016 and whilst sat chatting in a tea shop in Totnes when we realised that we shared the same vision for the future, to work with nature, buy some land and find an alternative way of living.
So it was a love thing that brought us to a small field in South Devon we named Herb Heaven Devon. We now grow over a 100 different herbs to sell and harvest and dry a range of herbs to make our Herbal tea range. Sown and grown organically, then hand harvested by us and lovingly blended into some wonderful herbal teas.
Growing herbs sounds simple but with over a hundred individual herbs now growing, culinary, medicinal and for polinators for the bees we are getting to know just how to get the very best growing climate for each one so we ensure we get the best harvest and flavour. Of course we have made mistakes, learnt a lot and have had so much fun.
