HOT OR COLD?

SUMMER TIME IS PEFECT FOR DRINKING TEA

Plenty of research has been done about the benefits of drinking hot tea in hot weather, I can remember my lovely mother telling me its better to have a hot drink to cool down and she maybe right, it has greater cooling effect than drinking a cold drink.

“So in summer, drink hot tea to cool down. As a result, sweat is produced and your body loses heat.”

Sometimes only a cold drink will do. I love a cool mint tea on a hot
day and has even created my own Mint Mocktail.
Recipe
In a large pitcher add the following:
Mint Tea Blend Brew in hot water for 5-8 mins and let cool (one
teaspoon per cup of water)
A few slices of lemon
Plenty of ice
A bottle of Feverfew Lemon Tonic water (Elderflower is nice too)
Add a few fresh mint leaves for decoration

Quote of the week
“If you are cold, tea will warm you;
if you are too heated, it will cool you;
If you are depressed, it will cheer you;
If you are excited, it will calm you.” – William Ewart Gladstone
